Context:
Țara Făgărașului Association, a joint platform for growth, had a vision: to transform this land in the heart of Romania into one of Europe's most attractive destinations for active and adventure tourism. One of the first strategic steps: building a strong and inspiring brand identity capable of capturing the spirit of the place and drawing in visitors and investors alike.

The Brief / The Challenge
The objective was to develop a visual identity for Țara Făgărașului that would:
- Reflect the natural richness and cultural depth of the region;
- Inspire tourists seeking meaningful outdoor experiences;
- Appeal to potential business owners and investors interested in hospitality and adventure services;
The identity needed to express the essence of the region, its geography, its people, its traditions - through a visual language that could act as a long-term brand symbol.
The Solution / Design Concept
The solution was a brand identity that brings together the most distinctive and emotionally resonant elements of the region, conveyed through a logo that reflects both the landscape and the spirit of Țara Făgărașului. The jagged silhouette of the Făgăraș mountains, the iconic blue of traditional houses and the open gate as a symbol of legendary local hospitality are all integrated into a unified visual.
Completing the picture is a subtle pair of angel wings, evoking the region’s deep-rooted spirituality and timeless, magical charm. The overall design embraces handcrafted imperfection, as a metaphor for the region’s artisanal heritage and untouched nature. This approach extends into a warm, welcoming visual system, supported by handcrafted typography, illustration accents and branded templates for signage and communication.
