Context:

Nufăr is a well-established Romanian cleaning brand, trusted for decades. With a wide portfolio of household cleaning products, Nufăr enjoys strong consumer recognition, largely supported by consistent use of product-specific colors and visual codes. To remain relevant in today’s market, the brand needed a packaging refresh, one that would modernize the brand without disrupting its strong shelf equity.

The Brief / The Challenge

The key objective was to update the packaging without losing recognizability.

This meant keeping familiar color schemes for each product while reducing visual clutter, improving hierarchy and updating core brand elements like the logo and typography. 

The Solution / Design Concept

We delivered a subtle but effective redesign that enhanced modernity and clarity:

- A refreshed logo, updated for a more modern appearance while staying close to the original identity;

- Cleaner layouts with reduced imagery to allow brand and product names to stand out;

- Modernized typography, eliminating gradients and using more legible font;

- Color consistency was retained across SKU’s to ensure strong shelf recognition.

The result is a packaging system that feels current, credible and easy to navigate, while staying true to the brand consumers already trust.
